Ride to the Rock Fundraising Campaign

Updated: Jul 15, 2022

We are proud to support the 'Ride to the Rock' fundraising campaign. The challenge a 2000-mile bike ride from Amsterdam to Gibraltar undertaken by the inspirational Andy Dennis and Tracey Hill.

This is part of an ongoing fundraising project for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

The aim of the campaign is to help raise £30,000 towards the overall goal of £200,000.

Andy Dennis is a staff nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Harrogate District Hospital while Tracey Hill is a staff nurse at the Nurse Dermatology Department at York Hospital.

This is the 3rd challenge carried out by Andy and Tracey and it has been a privilege to support them.

The couple fund all aspects of the projects and ALL of the money donated goes to MSF.

Andy said, "The goal of this challenge is to raise as much money as possible for MSF, they then turn your money into bandages, medications, oxygen masks and vaccines for the poorest for the most desperate people on the planet".

The campaign has so far been a success and Andy and Tracey are due to arrive in Gibraltar on July 20th 2022. We have been tracking their journey and so proud of what they have accomplished.
