Local artist and creative marketer Helen Gill saw her artwork projected onto the iconic City Hall organ as part of the immersive visual experience accompanying the live performance. The event brought together orchestral music, lighting, digital projection and artwork from members of the Feral Art community, creating a powerful blend of traditional performance and modern creative technology.
The evening showcased how music and visual art can work together to create a truly atmospheric experience, with audiences treated to stunning orchestral arrangements alongside large-scale projection visuals across the historic venue.
“The whole evening felt surreal,” said Helen. “Seeing my artwork projected inside Hull City Hall, alongside work from other artists in the Feral Art community, while the orchestra performed live was incredibly special.”
The performance was led by the orchestra’s conductor in a celebration that combined classical music with innovative visual storytelling. Helen also spoke of her pride in watching fellow creative and musician Graziana Presicce perform piano during the concert.
“The orchestra was incredible,” she added. “Every part of the evening was beautiful — the music, the lighting, the projections and the atmosphere created through the combination of live performance and technology.”
