HelloU Creative brought innovation, imagination, and a touch of Emerald City magic to the Hull & Humber Top 30 Under 30 Celebration Evening.
Partnering with Skills Bootcamps Hull and East Riding, Rachel Hancock, and Milly Rose, the HelloU team created ‘Be Your Wicked Selfie’ - a bespoke Wizard of Oz–themed Augmented Reality face filter experience that transformed the celebration into a fun, shareable, and fully immersive experience.
An Augmented Reality Experience with Heart
The AR installation featured five interactive face filters, each representing a Wizard of Oz character and a key business trait — connecting creativity, technology, and personal growth in a unique digital storytelling format.

🧙♀️ Wicked Witch / Wicked Leaders – Leadership is a kind of magic: creativity, vision, and confidence combined to craft success for yourself and your team.
The AR experience encouraged guests to explore their inner strengths and express themselves through playful, tech-driven storytelling — aligning perfectly with the Skills Bootcamp’s theme, “There’s No Place Like Skills Bootcamp.”
A Magical Night of Engagement
The ‘Be Your Wicked Selfie’ filters received over 300 views across all five designs, sparking laughter, creativity, and connection throughout the evening. Guests enthusiastically shared their AR selfies across social media, amplifying the event’s reach and reinforcing the value of interactive branding and digital engagement in live celebrations.
