Creativity and curiosity aren’t just buzzwords—they’re vital skills for every sector, not just the creative industries. This week, HelloU Creative founder Helen attended the Inspiring the Next Generation of Technology Talent event at Leeds Digital Festival, hosted by Accenture.
The panel explored how we can bridge the digital skills gap, engage young people earlier, and build stronger links between education, business, and the third sector. A shared belief emerged: future-ready skills begin with creativity, confidence, and curiosity.
“Throughout my journey in art, design, marketing, and digital innovation, it’s always been creativity and curiosity—asking ‘why?’ and ‘how?’—that have driven my passion and progress. These human skills are vital in every industry.” — Helen, HelloU Creative
This philosophy drives our work at HelloU Creative and our support of Reel Creative, the charity helping young people explore their potential through hands-on, immersive learning experiences. By nurturing digital and creative confidence, we aim to support the evolving needs of the tech and creative industries in meaningful, accessible ways.
